Common questions about working with us
We don't have a fixed process, as we prefer to approach each design project individually. However, the principles remain consistent; we discuss the requirements with the client, develop an initial concept, and then fine-tune that concept in conversation with the client.
We find that there's no such thing as a typical project; even two superficially similar projects can be very different in practice. As a general rule, however, we aim for quick turnarounds whenever possible, and are always willing to work towards the client's deadlines.
We offer two pricing models. One is a traditional quote-based model, where we assess the scope of the project and state the cost based on this. Our quotes always cover the initial work and multiple rounds of revisions, and are ironcast; we never charge extra for work within the scope of the original quote.
Our other pricing model is timer-based. Under this model we record all of our time spent working on projects for a given client, at an agreed hourly rate, and provide a detailed invoice at the end of each month.

Absolutely! We believe in building long-term relationships with our clients, some of whom have been with us for over twenty years. We keep all of our design files in permanent storage, so it's never too late to return to a design and make changes.
You need a graphic designer because your company's brand is its face, the clothes it wears, and the words it speaks. A poorly-considered brand sends all the wrong messages to potential customers, while a carefully-chosen brand can make sure that when you speak, customers listen.
Yes, we work with clients from all over the United Kingdom, and with a number of international clients. In today's world it's easier than ever to work seamlessly across regions and timezones, and to co-ordinate projects with clients in other countries.
We don't offer in-house printing services. However, we have contacts at a number of printers who we know and trust, and are happy to arrange printing and delivery on your behalf if you wish for us to do so.
We primarily use Adobe Creative Suite, an industry-standard package of design software used by most professional graphic designers - including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. We also work with other software including, but not limited to, Apple iWork suite (Keynote, Pages, and Numbers) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
Yes, we're a very environmentally friendly company. We walk to work, use a green energy tariff for our electricity, and have an electric vehicle we use to attend meetings and make deliveries. When working with printers and other companies, we always look for options with strong environmental credentials.
